Yojakarta - week 2 in Indonesia -

YoJakarta was far superior to other cities due to its cleanliness, cultural attractions, and variety of food options. The highlight of our stay was the guesthouse, built in 1908 in Dutch colonial-style architecture, which showcased classical beauty. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, and we truly loved this place.
Although I was still recovering from a bout of stomach issues, I managed to visit a few places in town.

The guest house.

We  visited Taman Seri Village, also known as the Water Castle, which was a pleasure garden for th royal family built in the 18th century. It was so luxurious that even now, it must have represented an extraordinary level of high-class living.

The local café offered delicious cakes and coffee. I was feeling better.

We also visited a seafood restaurant that was packed with locals. The kitchen staff greeted us with "Selamat datang!" (Welcome!) and "Terima kasih!" (Thank you!) in Indonesian, showcasing their hospitality. This reminded me of a Japanese pub, where the staff similarly serve customers. We ordered grilled fish, stir-fried green beans, and fried eggplants. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious.
